  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Jennifer Hallacker: Our biggest hurdle was PECO. Courtney & team were fantastic. She responded quickly to my many questions & once PECO finally did their piece installation was quick & painless. Also coordinated roof replacement as we had a leak. Now our beautiful roof works for us!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Duane Zoscin: I had an awesome experience with luminous solar. Peter and his team walked me through the process every step of the way. They even dealt with some sticky situations with local zoning, and that's the kind of thing that would frustrate me to know end but they handled it like pros and they got me through it. I am now the proud owner of a 16.25 kW array. 5 out of 5 stars highly recommend
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by James O'Driscoll: Tim did a great job of explaining the process for adding a second system to my home.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by ZYarosz: Lumina has done an Excellent job. Their process was smooth. Our project manager Allison Sanders navigated us through all the steps handedly. I always felt well informed, communication was thorough and timely. Ali was professional yet easy to talk with on all the particulars. The install teams were also communicative and we are very pleased with the results. 10/10 no notes
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Jason Quattro: I had researched solar for a couple of years before finally deciding to pull the trigger. I talked to quite a few installers and got a ton of different options on panels, wattages, inverters, pricing, financing and warranties. What I really like about lumina is they do everything in house and nothing is subcontracted out. The entire process with them from start to finish was smooth and professional. They have excellent prices, use top rated panels (I chose the REC 405 watt panels) and the best warranty (30 years). I got 25 year financing and pay much less than my electric bill was. Lumina was very organized and professional every step of the way. The install was very clean and I liked how they ran the wiring through the attic and down the house tucked against the gutter so you can barely see it. Peter Hayes was fantastic and even came out to my house on the day the install was completed to check up on everything. I installed a “sense” system (one of the best purchases I have made) so I can monitor real-time consumption and production. During my first month I sent over 1100 kWh back to Peco (after factoring in consumption) and that’s with charging an electric car. The system also performed great over the rest of the year and the winter. I have banked enough kWh during the spring/summer to draw from during the lower solar production months. Now that a year has passed I am happy to report that I have produced a good bit more than I consumed so Peco will send me a check for the excess energy! If you are on the fence about solar reach out to Lumina… you will be glad you did!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by matthew weitzel: Lumina Solar does an awesome job. They give a great presentation and keep you informed of all the steps along the way. The installers were very professional. The install was flawless and was completed very quickly. I'm an electrician by trade, and the electrical equipment install was beautiful, could have not done better myself. Highly recommend Lumina Solar.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey: From the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Zack Yankiewicz: I contacted Lumina Solar a few months ago upon purchasing a new home. After being connected with Pete Hayes I ended up going with a 36 panel ground mount installation. Pete was great during the entire process and the Lumina team did a great job with communication as well as the actual install.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Anthony Volpe: Lumina was fantastic to work with. From start to finish they were there every step of the way keeping me informed and up to date. They answering any questions I had and made it clear what the next steps would be. The installation was efficient and the installers were very professional. It was great not to have any part of the process subcontracted out, and to work with lumen of the whole way.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania by Corey DeSimone: I shopped around for solar panels at a few places including Tesla, and none of the companies stood out to me like Lumina Solar. I’m all about customer service, and working with Philip Jordan was by far the best experience I could’ve asked for.. He had answers to all my crazy questions (and there were a lot) and taught me a lot about solar in general, while not being your typical pushy salesman at the same time. He found me the best, affordable price coupled with top of the line products and tech. I recommend him to all of my friends/family and neighbors interested in solar. Lumina Solar all the way!

Isn't it fascinating how a simple act like inspecting or cleaning up can revive a system? It's a small effort with a huge payoff, ensuring your panels keep taking in the Schuylkill County Pennsylvania sun for many years.

Unveiling the Tricks of Residential Solar Power System Style

Imagine the sun as a relentless artist, painting your roof with streams of energy. But not all canvases are produced equivalent. In Schuylkill County Pennsylvania, where solar irradiance dances with seasonal shifts, creating a property solar energy system requires more than just slapping panels on a roofing system. The subtle art lies in capturing optimum sunshine while browsing the peculiarities of regional weather condition and architectural subtleties.

The Puzzle of Orientation and Tilt

What if I told you that a few degrees difference in panel tilt could imply the difference between a power-packed year and a frustrating output? Schuylkill County Pennsylvania's latitude suggests a tilt angle close to 30-40 degrees, but do not hurry-- factors like roof pitch, shading from towering trees, and even chimney shadows can dramatically alter performance.

  • South-facing roofings are ideal, however east or west can still yield decent energy if optimized.
  • Adjusting panel angles seasonally isn't practical for a lot of property owners, yet fixed installs need to be picked carefully.
  • Partial shading, even from a thin branch, triggers out of proportion drops in output-- microinverters or power optimizers can alleviate this effect.
