KentI would highly recommend Lumina and Courtney Sollenberger to anyone looking into solar options. Courtney is very knowledgeable and took the time to lay out all of our options. I looked seriously at 3 different companies and Lumina was the clear leader. No pressure and a team of professionals supporting us through the entire process. Lots of clear communication at each step of the process. The installation team was super efficient and took the time to answer every question I had. We have been up and running since June banking electricity in our net metering solution. The visibility into what our system is producing through their app software and hardware is amazing.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Kent
Jeffrey PageWe have had an excellent experience with Lumina Solar. Our great experience began with our initial contact with Lumina’s Residential Solar Consultant, Ryan Cook, who patiently walked us through what Lumina was offering, what we could expect from the service, how the installation, how long the process would take, as well as what financing options we might be eligible for. Once we signed with Lumina, every touch point with the company was smooth, professional, and efficient. At one point we had a minor concern about our roof, and Lumina sent out a senior consultant to look at the situation, talk through the issue, and arrive at a satisfactory resolution. Most importantly, since we installed the Lumina solar panels, our electric bills have dropped to zero — over the past few months we’ve paid PEPCO on the nominal administrative fee of 18-odd dollars. Lumina has provided excellent service from start to finish, and we are very satisfied not only with our reduced electric bill but also with the knowledge that we are contributing to a greener environment.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Jeffrey Page
Scott A. WalsemanThis past spring I started to explore options for solar power. I spent time researching different companies and settled on Lumina Solar PA. I reached out and within a day had a return call and we discussed my solar needs. Jack Wood then worked up a solar plan and recontacted me about my options and cost. He spent time going over all the details, specs, and pricing. He also offered several options for financing. He then coordinated a roof engineer inspection. Once I made a decision to proceed the Lumina project team took over to handle all the permits, local, power company, and worked to keep the project on track. The installers were the best, really personable and ensured that any and all questions I had were addressed. They completed the install in 2 days. Final inspection was flawless. The entire experience was extremely smooth and pleasant. If you’re considering solar, you should explore Lumina Solar Pa, you won’t regret it.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Scott A. Walseman
Harrison BurchExtremely professional! We worked with Christopher Richardson and he made the whole process so simple. The crew that showed up installed everything in only a few hours and then walked me through what they had completed and what the next steps were. If I would have known this was so easy, I would have done this a while ago!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Harrison Burch
John HerzigLumina did a nice job with our solar system installation. We are enjoying the savings on our electric bill, and doing our part on climate change. We worked with Alexander, who was very knowledgable and helpful.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by John Herzig
Sue PageLumina Solar recently installed a solar panel system and provided the best experience possible. The entire process was incredible - from initial consultation and design, to permitting, installation, inspection, and activation. The process began with Kurt, Project Manager, who did a great initial consultation and design. He answered all of my questions and communicated continuously throughout the project. All of the other contacts at each step were also fantastic: scheduling (Caitlin), survey (Ty), electrical (Ryan and Jeff), install (Anthony and Deandre), and inspection (Brooke). Also, electrician Chris was present at the final inspection. I highly recommend Lumina Solar for their outstanding customer service, communication, attention to detail, and quality. Thank you.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Sue Page
Richard FreyFrom the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey
Limra SurveyChris made the entire process so simple and understandable that I never had an unanswered question. The install was perfect and even UGI was on time!! Thanks so much for everything!!! Right after the install was finished it started to snow!! Thanks Lumina Solar Torrey S!!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Limra Survey
Anita SWe had a wonderful experience with Lumina Solar--from sales to installation to post-installation set up and running. The installers were careful and informative. The whole process was pretty easy. When I wrote to ask questions, they were answered quickly and carefully. We are happily producing energy!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Anita S
John CollierSo far I have had a very positive experience with Lumina. A friend had done some research and sent me his top solar prospects, with Lumina as his #1. I called several companies and Lumina stood just above the others. The salesperson, Matt D, was knowledgeable and supportive without being pushy. The design process was all done over zoom, and everything was well explained. Once I was ready to commit, everything moved along smoothly and as expected. The installation was uneventful in a good way. The permitting took a while, but they had set my expectations for that, so it wasn't a surprise. Once the panels were up and running, the monitoring software is great, and Matt continues to support me as I have questions. My panels only came online in October of 2021, so my review may change if I get any curveballs in the future, but for now, everything has been wonderful!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by John Collier
  • Sun course variations throughout the year
  • Microclimates caused by neighboring structures and foliage
  • Optimum panel tilt and orientation to make the most of energy capture
  • Combination with existing electrical systems

Anecdotally, a property owner in Bucks County as soon as thought a shaded backyard disagreed for solar. Lumina's group demonstrated how strategic placement on an eastern roof sector could still record ample sunlight, turning uncertainty into excitement.
